Straight answers

Your info.

The short version: we store what you type into the application, we use it to run this recruiting cycle, we do not track you, and we delete it when the cycle is done. The long version is below, and it is written to be read.

01What we collect

Exactly what the application form asks for: your name, email, year, major, an optional LinkedIn or personal-site link, which lanes pull you, your two written answers, the commitment checkbox, and anything you add in the optional field.

When you submit, we also record the time, your browser's user-agent string, and a scrambled fingerprint of your network address that we use to slow down spam. Your actual IP address is never stored in your application, and the scrambled version cannot be turned back into it. Like every website, our host (Cloudflare) sees standard connection details while serving the page.

No resume, no transcript, no grades. We do not ask because we do not want them.

02What we use it for

That is the whole list. We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or add you to any mailing list.

03Where it lives

Applications are stored with Cloudflare, the company that hosts this site, in a database with no public access of any kind. There is no way to read an application from the browser, and only the MZZ leadership team, signed into our hosting account, can pull them out. Cloudflare processes the data solely as our hosting provider.

04What we don't do

05AI in our review

We are an AI-native team and we may use AI tools to help organize and summarize applications. People make every decision about who gets an interview and who gets an offer. No application is accepted or rejected by software.

06How long we keep it

Applications are kept for the Fall 2026 recruiting cycle and deleted within twelve months of the cycle closing, so no later than September 2027. If you join the team, the basics (name, email, lane) carry into the roster; the rest is deleted on the same schedule.

07Your call, always

Want a copy of what you submitted, a correction, or the whole thing deleted? Message Jameson on LinkedIn and it is done, no questions, no effect on how we read a future application from you.

08Who this is for

This site is built for enrolled university students and is not directed to children under 13.
